If it wasn’t enough that France is in a recession and the banques are sinking – they not only had to lift the height limits in Paris but authorize two of the ugliest projects I’ve seen in a while (and I live in NYC). When the Eiffel Tower was built, traditionalists decried the destruction of the most beautiful cityscape in the world. The critics were wrong then. Perhaps I’ll be wrong now or is it a case of try, try again until you succeed?
