This posting is directly on point. I believe the numbers of funds shutting down may be even greater. Small funds like mine ($80MM) are toast.

I will add that most funds have been reducing their leverage for the past year and have done so successfully. That being said, they are still getting redemption requests for the end of the year. However, I do not expect it to drag down the markets.

In my case, redemptions are less than I would expect. Bbut the tone of the conversations with investors has prompted me to shut my doors. So I am liquidating with all due haste.</description>
